Sour Cream Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine dry ingredients. In another bowl, beat egg, sour cream, milk and butter; add to cornmeal mixture and mix just until combined. Pour into a greased 8-in. square baking dish.
  2. Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm.
