These bacon-wrapped smokies are a delightful blend of savory and sweet and are a breeze to prepare. Perfect for a tailgate or party, they are sure to be a hit and you'll be amazed at how easy they are to make.
Ingredients
- 1 pound sliced bacon
- 1 package (16 ounces) miniature smoked sausage links
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- Spicy ranch dip, optional
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°. Cut each bacon strip in half widthwise. Wrap one piece of bacon around each sausage.
- Place sausages, seam side down, on a foil-lined 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake, uncovered, until bacon is crisp and sausage is heated through, 30-40 minutes. If desired, serve with spicy ranch dip or dip of your choice.
