Simple seasonings and a quick cooking time make this tender and juicy pork steak recipe perfect for a busy weeknight.
Ingredients
- 2 bone-in pork steaks (12-14 ounces each)
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°. Pat steaks dry with paper towel. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
- In a large cast iron skillet or Dutch oven, heat oil over medium-high heat. Brown steaks on both sides. Brush with Worcestershire sauce.
- Transfer skillet to the oven; cook until a thermometer inserted in pork reads 145°, 8-10 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes.
