Pan-Fried Pork Chops

These pan-fried pork chops take very little time to get from stove to table. Serve with your favorite vegetable side dish for a quick and easy meal.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 boneless pork loin chops (6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil

Directions

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix flour, salt and pepper. Dip pork in flour mixture to coat both sides; shake off excess.
  2. In a large cast iron skillet, cook chops in oil over medium heat, until a thermometer inserted in pork reads 145°, 4-5 minutes on each side. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
