These lamb meatballs draw inspiration from Mediterranean and Middle Eastern kitchens. They blend the richness of lamb with herbs and spices for a dish that's as timeless as it is tasty.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground lamb
- 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°. Fit a wire rack inside a 15x10x1-in. baking sheet; coat with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, thoroughly combine all ingredients. Form into 2-in. meatballs. Line on prepared wire rack with 1-in. space in between. Bake 18-22 minutes or until cooked through.
