When you feel a cold coming on, make a hot toddy recipe to help alleviate some of the symptoms. Whether it's an old wives' tale or not, it sure will taste delicious and soothing.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 ounces whiskey
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 cinnamon stick (3 inches)
- 1 orange slice
Directions
- Pour honey into a tall glass or large mug. Add boiling water; stir until honey is dissolved. Stir in whiskey and lemon juice; add cinnamon stick and garnish with orange slice.
