Homemade Cranberry Sauce

It doesn't take long to make this from-scratch cranberry sauce recipe! The four-ingredient sauce can be made with fresh or frozen cranberries and simmers for only 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 1 package (12 ounces) fresh or frozen cranberries

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, orange juice and zest; add cranberries. Cook over medium heat until the berries pop, about 15 minutes.
  2. Remove from the heat. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour or until chilled.
