Baked Beans with Ground Beef

These baked beans with ground beef are perfect for get-togethers, because you can mix everything up a day early and toss it in the slow cooker a few hours before your guests arrive.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can (16 ounces) baked beans, undrained
  • 1 can (15-1/2 ounces) butter beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
  2. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or until heated through.
