Ingredients
- 3 cups salad croutons
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chiles
- 6 large eggs
- 3 cups 2% milk
- 2 teaspoons ground mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
- Arrange croutons in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and chiles. In a bowl, beat remaining ingredients. Pour egg mixture over cheese. Refrigerate, covered, 8 hours or overnight.
- Remove dish from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Preheat oven to 350°. Bake, uncovered, until a knife inserted in center comes out clean, 40-45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
