
Copycat Patti’s Sawdust Pie

Ingredients
- Dough for single-crust pie
- 7 large egg whites
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1-1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
- 1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1-1/2 cups chopped pecans
- Whipped cream
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to a 1/8-in.-thick circle; transfer to a 9-in. pie plate. Trim crust to 1/2 in. beyond rim of plate; flute edge.
- In a large bowl, combine egg whites, sugar, coconut, cracker crumbs and pecans. Pour into crust. Bake 25-30 minutes or until set. Cool on a wire rack. Serve with whipped cream.
