Cinnamon Roll Casserole

For this cinnamon roll casserole, use the best-quality cinnamon roll dough you can find at the store—your dish will be better for it. And for the ultimate version, use homemade cinnamon rolls!

Ingredients

  • 2 tubes (12.4 ounces each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing, cut into quarters
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 13x9-in. baking dish. Place cinnamon roll pieces in bottom of prepared baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the milk, syrup, vanilla and cinnamon until blended; pour over rolls.
  3. In another small bowl, combine flour and brown sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in pecans, if desired. Sprinkle over cinnamon roll pieces. Bake, covered, until golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Cool slightly; drizzle with icing packets and serve immediately.
