Chipped Beef Cheese Ball

This chipped beef cheese ball takes 10 minutes to prepare, so whip it up before your next party and let it chill while you pick up the living room.

Ingredients

  • 5 packages (2 ounces each) thinly sliced dried beef
  • 12 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped sweet onion
  • 4 drops Worcestershire sauce
  • Ritz crackers and assorted fresh vegetables

Directions

  1. Place beef in a food processor; pulse until finely chopped. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Stir in 2/3 cup beef, the onion and Worcestershire sauce. Refrigerate, covered, at least 1 hour.
  2. Place remaining beef in a small shallow bowl. Shape cheese mixture into a ball; roll in beef to coat evenly. Wrap and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Serve with crackers and vegetables.
