Cheeseburger Tacos

Part cheeseburger, part taco, these easy-to-make tacos are bursting with flavor. Topped with your favorite burger sauce, fresh veggies and melted cheese, these are a true crowd-pleaser and are the perfect addition to your weekday meal plan.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons dill or sweet pickle juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 8 flour tortillas (6 inches)
  • 1-1/4 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped dill or sweet pickles

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook and crumble beef over medium heat, until no longer pink, 6-8 minutes; drain. Stir in onion powder, salt and pepper. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and let stand until cheese is melted.
  2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, pickle juice and hot pepper sauce. Divide beef mixture among tortillas. Top with lettuce, tomato, pickles and sauce.
