Can you make popcorn on the grill?

Yes, it is possible to make popcorn on the grill. Drizzle vegetable oil on a disposable aluminum baking pan, pour kernels on the pan and cover with aluminum foil. Set the grill to medium to high heat and give the pan a few shakes with tongs while the kernels pop. Similar to the microwave method, make sure to remove the popcorn from the grill immediately once you hear the kernels stop popping to prevent it from burning.

Ingredients

  • 8-1/2 cups popped popcorn
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. Place popcorn in a large bowl. In a small bowl, combine butter and honey; drizzle over popcorn and toss to coat. Sprinkle with the next 6 ingredients; toss to coat.
