The magic of air-frying continues with this small-scale Thanksgiving recipe for air-fryer turkey breast.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh oregano
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh sage
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 4 pounds bone-in, skin-on turkey breast, thawed
Directions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, butter, herbs, lemon zest, salt and pepper. Rub an even coating of herb butter on all sides of the turkey breast.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°. Place the turkey breast in the air fryer basket skin-side down. Cook 22-26 minutes. Flip; cook an additional 25-35 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165° and skin is golden brown and crisp.
- Remove turkey from air fryer to a carving board. Cover with foil; rest 10 minutes. Remove meat from breast bone; carve into slices. Serve warm.
