This air-fryer broccoli is the perfect side dish. It’s quick and easy to prepare while boasting a delicious lemony flavor that pairs with almost any entree.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper, divided
- 1-1/2 pounds fresh broccoli florets (about 12 cups)
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
- Lemon wedges, optional
Directions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°. In a large bowl, whisk oil, lemon juice, salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper until blended; add broccoli and toss to coat. Arrange broccoli in a single layer on greased tray in air-fryer basket.
- Cook until tender, 8-10 minutes. Transfer to a serving dish. Sprinkle with almonds, lemon zest and remaining 1/8 teaspoon pepper; toss to combine. If desired, serve with lemon wedges.
